RESERVATIONS 

In order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding reservations, the following are our terms and conditions of trading. All reservations are accepted on the basis of these terms and conditions.

 Making a Reservation

All reservations made at Las Balsas Relais & Châteaux are held on an option basis until the hotel receives confirmation.

 Confirmation

In order to confirm a reservation, a debit or credit card is required as a guarantee and you can be asked for the confirmation, the prepayment of the 50% of the full reservation amount. Otherwise may be considered as not confirmed and can be canceled without any prior notice. Due to this we strongly recommend to contact our Reservations Department at reservas@lasbalsas.com in order to check the status of your reservation

 Deposits

Las Balsas Relais & Châteaux reserves the right to require payment of a deposit to a predetermined amount of 50% of the full reservation amount, as specified at the time of reservation to secure all bookings. In the event that a cancellation fee needs to be implemented, the deposit becomes non-refundable and will be set against the cancellation fee. The balance will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee the booking.

 Cheques

Cheques and travellers cheques are not accepted as payment.

 Passports

All non-Argentinian travellers must present a passport on arrival to Reception. The passport may be also sent in advance to the Reservations Department in the case you would like to accelerate your check in process upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Pre-payment to secure our best rates at the time of booking. Payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. With this in mind, it may be advisable to take out holiday insurance. 

The cancellation may be “Flexible” in case of cancellation due to force major, so any amount paid will be taken as credit in local currency for future reservations. Payments are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy – Booking Provider

Please see the cancellation policy with your booking provider for full terms & conditions. Cancellations must be placed through your booking provider.

Rates

Net rates expressed in US dollars, per night and per room / suite. The rates do not include 21% VAT. Valid only for individual reservations. All our direct rates include breakfast, one meal per day (3-step menu with non-alcoholic drinks included) at Las Balsas Restaurant, a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and delicatessen in your room, use of our pool, spa, and various activities including the ones in our Natural Reserve.

 

CHILDREN 

Children of all ages are welcome to stay at Las Balsas Relais & Châteaux and infants (aged 0 – 2) stay for free. Children (aged 3 – 16) will be on the same rate (e.g. bed & breakfast) as the adults on their reservation.

 

DOG POLICY

It is the policy of Las Balsas Relais & Chateaux that guests staying with pets receive special treatment in their rooms. The Purpose of this policy is to be focused on every detail so that guests staying with pets receive special attention for their comfort and that of their pet.

General guidelines

Dogs up to 12 kilos (27 pounds) will be accepted. Cost to Guest: A cleaning fee of USD 200.00 will be charged per stay not to exceed 6 nights. An additional charge for deep cleaning will be applied for reservations of 7 to 30 nights of USD 100 extra. The pet owner must provide her phone number for any emergency. The reception must coordinate with the guest the room service hours. In case the guest does not wish to do so, they must contact Housekeeping, otherwise it will be done. The pet will not be able to stay in the room during the service. The guest will be responsible for all and / or any damage to the property. The hotel will not be responsible for the pet or its actions during the stay.

Pets may not circulate in public areas. The guest must sign a disclaimer upon check in that describes this policy. We will do a special set up in the room

Bookings

The Reservations department will inform the guest of the main guidelines of the program at the time of booking. The Reservations department will send an email to reception with the guest’s contact details and pet information. The information about the pet will be added as a Trace in the reservation: Name, Type of Dog and Weight.

We regret that the hotel is not able to accept large or giant breeds (e.g. Great Danes, New Foundlands) or puppies in the rooms (dogs must be ten months or over). 

 

RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS 

The dress code for the dining room is smart casual.

General Policies of the Restaurant

Taking into account our infrastructure, and taking SECURITY as a fundamental aspect, we can only receive children over 6 years old for lunch and over 12 years old for dinner. 

Please inform us in advance in case you have any special requirements, dietary restrictions or is an anniversary date, birthday or some special celebration. 

The restaurant has a tolerance of 20 minutes to save your reservation. After this time, the restaurant reserves the right to save or not the reservation.

Children under 6 y/o are welcome to join us in the restaurant on a specific timetable at 12.00hs until 1.00 pm and for dinner until 8.00pm, with last orders being placed by 7.00pm. As well as children have a special place for lunch and dinner with kids facilities in the playroom, always with a adult company 

For children our team may also offer smaller portions that can be enjoyed from any of our ‘adults’ menus.

 

SPA 

In order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding hotel and spa reservations, the following are our terms and conditions of trading. All reservations are accepted on the basis of these terms and conditions.

Food & Fun

It is a special program that combines an exclusive spa day experience with a special 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing in our award-winning Restaurant. Reservation in advance is mandatory and availability will be confirmed by our team as part of the normal booking process.

Deposits

Las Balsas Relais & Châteaux Hotel and the Spa reserves the right to require payment of a deposit to a predetermined amount, as specified at the time of reservation to secure all bookings.

Cheques

Cheques and travellers cheques are not accepted.

Treatment Cancellation

In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel or postpone your confirmed booking within a 12 hour notice period, the hotel reserves the right to charge the full amount, or keep the deposit. The hotel will at all times endeavour to avoid cancellation fees becoming necessary by re-selling the treatment room slot.

Non-Arrivals

Guests with confirmed Spa day/treatment reservations who do not take up the reservation will be considered as non-arrivals and will therefore be liable for the applicable charge in full.

Vouchers

Garden spa vouchers are only valid till the date stated on the voucher. If a booking is made with a voucher the guest must present the voucher on arrival for the treatment/spa day to be valid. If the treatment is cancelled within the cancellation policy, the hotel reserves the right to void the voucher.

Treatment Tariff

All prices quoted are inclusive of 21% VAT

Medical Contraindications

Please contact our team if you have any allergies, serious medical conditions (within the past 5 years) taking any medications, or are pregnant prior to your treatment. The Spa reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if we feel it is unsafe to carry out a treatment.

Children

Children are welcome at the Spa only with a resposable adult with him until 6pm. Later that time, no kids are allowed at the Spa. We are unable to offer treatments to children under the age of 16. Please contact us for spa use and bookings.
