Patagonia is immensity, adventure, nature, stunning landscapes, stories of explorers, ancestral cultures and gauchos. Patagonia is "terra incognita" and we invite you to discover it through us.
Patagonia de Los Lagos
The Lake District is located in the northern region of Patagonia, in the middle of the Andes. It is formed by mountains and valleys with hundreds of lakes, wetlands and rivers surrounded by unique native forests considered a hotspot of vital importance to the world’s biodiversity. Our forest is characterized by a lush green colour, due to the abundant rains and snowfalls that the winds of the South Pacific spread their humidity when crossing the Andes. Only 50 km east, this ancestral forest is replaced by the vastness of the Patagonian Estepa: a large desert of small shrubs and grasslands that stretches for thousands of kilometres until reaching the Atlantic Ocean.
Nahuel Huapí Lake
The Great Nahuel Huapi Lake
The great Nahuel Huapi Lake, “Isla del Jaguar” in Mapuche, was of vital importance for the native people who live a hundred years ago. It is currently located within the Nahuel Huapí National Park and keeps its landscapes almost intact and its original spirit of adventure.
Deep blue waters with diverse bays and beautiful postcard are an ideal environment to navigate, feel the fresh south wind in the face, relax within the Patagonian landscape and enjoy the moment. Normally starting from Las Balsas’s private pier.
