1º International Chess Tournament at Las Balsas Relais & Châteaux
From June 17th to 20th 2022
The event
The event will take place inside the Las Balsas hotel, with 3 specific places for the meeting inside the venue. The organization is in charge of Gabriel DellAcqua and Xavier Cugat who are promoting chess in Villa La Angostura. In this sense, the organizers seek the foundation of the entity affiliated to FADA in Villa La Angostura. The event will be held in person, arbitrated by the AI OI Leandro Plotinsky and will be broadcast on social networks. This tournament will feature the participation of important local and international players and will be valid for the world ranking.
Las Balsas proposes an exclusive program by which the guests may enjoy the comfort of Las Balsas and participate in the event and the farewell dinner, sharing a unique moment with the best chess players in Argentina and Latin America.
RESUME
Up to 100 registrations will be received. The registration fee is $5,000. The Tournament will open registration to all those players who are not titled as of January 1, 2022 A special 25% discount will be made on registration until February 1, 2022

– You can request 2 half-point byes the first 4 rounds (before starting the first round or when registering)
– The absence will be at 1 hour of the beginning of the round and the player will be eliminated from the tournament without prior notice.
– Access to the game room with electronic devices is prohibited. They cannot be handed over to the referee.
